The Hamsters

The guitar, bass and drums trio The Hamsters have long been established as one of our premier live attractions. Although a band in their own right - playing Rock, Blues and Americanathey've also long widely been regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of Jimi Hendrix's music. Tonight, warming up for their Jimi Hendrix 40th Anniversary Memorial Tour commencing next month, they'll be performing a show of his songs to commemorate his passing 40 years ago in September 1970. The band will 'support' themselves by first playing a short set of their own brand of music, then return for a full Jimi show!

The guitar, bass and drums trio The Hamsters have long been established as one of our premier live attractions, having performed over 4,000 concerts in 23 years. Although primarily playing their own brand of rootsy Rock, Blues and Americana, they're also widely regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of the music of JIMI HENDRIX & ZZ TOP, and will no doubt be featuring some tonight. The band's guitarist/singer Slim recently had a new interview in Guitarist Magazine, and the lads have just released a new 3-hour double live DVD, titled 'Curse Of The Killer Hamsters!'
